North American LE Collection Confirmed for Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale

Recently in attendance at Otakon in Washington, D.C. – North American anime publisher Aniplex of America used their industry panel to confirm that Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale will be available for purchase from December 19 2017. This follows screenings across North America, which Aniplex of America claim grossed “1.35 million dollars during the first four days of the North American release”.

As one of their more prolific animated feature films, it doesn’t come as much surprise that the film will have a pricier limited edition offered for it, alongside standard DVD and Blu-ray collections.

For those interested in the special Limited Edition, you will receive a copy of Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale on Blu-ray, along with the following goodies:

  • A bonus music CD featuring the following songs:
    • “Ubiquitous dB –Special ver.-” by Asuna Yuuki (cv: Haruka Tomatsu), Keiko Ayano (cv: Rina Hidaka)
    • “Break Beat Bark! –special ver.-” by Rika Shinozaki (cv: Ayahi Takagaki), Shino Asada (cv: Miyuki Sawashiro)
