Although Siren Visual serves as the Australian and New Zealand publisher of Angel Beats! on DVD and Blu-ray, the 14-episode TV anime series is also available free of charge via Madman Entertainment’s AnimeLab service. Or rather… it was until the series was removed from the video-on-demand service some time ago.
Clearly the removal was only temporary however, as Madman Entertainment have today confirmed that all episodes can now once again be viewed via the service. While there are at least some limits for free subscribers to the service, premium subscribers can access all 14-episodes in HD w/ English subtitles from HERE.
It is unknown if this is an indefinite addition once again, or will be removed at a later date. Either way, this is a series I personally enjoy, and can recommend checking out for yourself if you haven’t already. Otherwise, you can still nab yourself a physical copy from select retailers.
ABOUT ANGEL BEATS!
Otonashi Yuzuru has one memory: he died. He’s stuck in a high school of the afterlife, his own surreal purgaroey with two choices: give up his connection to life and submit to his fate… or fight against God! If he choses the latter option, the Shinda Sekai Sensen (SSS) is here to help – they’re here to see that your untimely death is avenged. One problem though: Angel, the president of the student council. Throw in an all-girl rock band called Girl’s Dead Monster, buckets of blacker than black comedy, more weapons than you can handle and you’re only half-way to heaven… but you’ve still gotta get through hell.
