Joining a number of older anime series which have received another chance to shine in western markets, Nozomi Entertainment have confirmed they have acquired the rights to Galaxy Angel.
The North American anime publisher have announced their plans for the first 26-episode season, which will be released in Early 2017 on Blu-ray. Not to shabby for a series which first aired in Japan during 2001. The new English release will come with English and Japanese voice acting, presumably based off the original localised release.
It is currently known if later seasons (Galaxy Angel Z, Galaxy Angel A, Galaxy Angel AA, Galaxy Angel S, Galaxy Angel X and Galaxy Angel Rune) will also receive a similar release.

Galaxy Angel consists of 26 episodes and focuses on The Angel Brigade, an elite branch of the Transvaal Empire military, as they travel to different planets using their specially designed ships to search for “Lost Technology.” Unfortunately, they often mess up and land in all kinds of awkward situations.
