More than two decades after first airing in Japan, Nozomi Entertainment have confirmed that El-Hazard: The Wanderers will be available for purchase in North American markets as an “Anime Elements” set starting June 7th 2016.

This will be a DVD-only set, and will contain all 26-episodes (650 minutes worth) for only $29.99. Not only is this fairly cheap for the episode count, but it also comes with both the original Japanese dub and a newer English dub from ZRO Limit Productions.

El-Hazard: The Wanderers features animation by AIC, who later went on to work on titles such as Strike Witches and Nyan Koi. It also features music by Seikou Nagaoka, who has provided life to shows including Chaika – The Coffin Princess and Tenchi Muyo.

In terms of on-disc special features, this set will include a line art gallery, full colour art gallery, Clean OP/ED Sequences and animated comics.

About El-Hazard: The Wanderers

Makoto always upstages Jinnai without trying, which just aggravates the delusional rivalry that Jinnai has concocted within his own mind. However, when Jinnai attempts to sabotage Makoto’s newest invention, the machine creates a dimensional rift and throws Makoto, Jinnai, and several others from their school into a strange, new world that is filled with amazing creatures, beautiful sights, and dangerous enemies. If they ever want to get home, it’s going to take wits, courage, and a lot of luck in El-Hazard: The Wanderers!
