Madman Entertainment Are Holding Last Chance to Buy Sale for a Range of Anime Titles

Unfortunately, it is not always possible for an anime publisher to offer their back catalogue for years and years after launch, and titles you could buy five years ago aren’t always possible to purchase today. Some titles manage to survive on the market for quite some time (Princess Tutu is one example which comes to mind), others are license rescued (Recent examples include Azumanga Daioh and Angelic Layer), and others have their availability become scarce.

Australian anime publisher Madman Entertainment are currently holding a ‘Last Chance to Buy – Anime Sale’, with a range of series and volumes on offer which might possibly not be around for purchase much longer (if at all) once stock dries up.

Several series covered on The Otaku’s Study in past years are covered by this sale including Black Butler II (Season 2 + OVA Collection) on Blu-ray, individual Bilingual Editions of Blue Exorcist, Chaos;Head, Disgaea, Eden of the East, El Cazador de la Bruja, Girls Bravo, Honey and Clover, Kanon (Out of Stock as of writing), Love Hina, Ouran High School Host Club, Persona 4 the Animation, Rozen Maiden Traumend/Ouverture, Sekirei, Spice and Wolf, Squid Girl and more. And yes, I did spend some time reminiscing about past series as I wrote this list.

Do note that despite being present in the sale, it does not mean that the series will necessarily go out of print. In some cases a title is available as part of a Complete Collection, while in other cases only one format (DVD or Blu-ray) is listed. Take a look at the full list HERE to take advantage of some decent deals.
