North American anime publisher Sentai Filmworks have recently announced they now hold the rights to La Corda D’Oro: Blue Sky in their supported regions. This season, which chronologically takes place eight years after the first season of La Corda D’Oro, introduces viewers to new protagonist Kanade Kohinata and a new group of musical prodigies. Viewers are able to witness them preparing themselves to “shine on the biggest stage” and “create new memories, friendships and rivalries”.
This 12-episode 2014 anime series was directed by Kojin Ochi, with series composition by Keiichiro Ochi, character designs by Maki Fujioka and music composition by Koichiro Kameyama. Animation production for La Corda D’Oro: Blue Sky was handled by TYO.
As with most Sentai Filmworks anime releases, this title will be available through digital VOD services first, with a home video release to follow.
