Following what seems to have been strong success with the Attack on Titan anime series in Australia (
The Otaku’s Study – Australian Anime Release of the Year 2014 – Bronze), Australian anime publisher Madman Entertainment also acquired rights to its live action film.
In a recent announcement made via their social media channels, the company shared their official poster (Pictured to the right) for the film and confirmed its cinematic release date. Although currently unknown if screenings will be one-day only or for a more extended period of time, the film will be screening at select cinemas on August 27 2015). Exact cinema locations have yet to be confirmed.
