Although my own profile has remained inactive for many a year now, MyAnimeList has served as a popular hub for the worldwide anime community to come together and share their impressions on anime, manga and OVA’s. DeNA Co. Ltd and Anime Consortium Japan have announced that they plan to stream select Japanese anime titles through the service beginning today.

They plan to embed anime titles streamed on DAISUKI.net into MyAnimeList. The first titles to receive this treatment will be The Idolm@ster: Cinderella Girls and God Eater – both with the original Japanese dub and English subtitles. They plan to increase the number of episodes available through MyAnimeList as embedded videos and/or hyperlinks in the future.

Currently, none of the episodes available through MyAnimeList will be available in Japan.

Together with Anime Consortium Japan, we look forward to delivering authentic Japanese anime titles to the millions of anime fans around the world who visit MyAnimeList. With this alliance, we hope to make our own contribution to Japan’s anime and manga industry.
