Following their decision to simuldub the entire series, Aniplex of America have announced during their Anime Expo 2015 panel that they will be releasing the first arc of DuRaRaRa!!x2 across two DVD and Blu-ray volumes this year. Volume 1 (Containing Episodes 1-6) will be available for purchase from September 29 2015, while the second Volume (Containing Episodes 7-12 & OVA 4.5) will be available from November 24 2015. Each DVD volume comes with an SRP for $59.98, while the Blu-ray Volume is approximately 1.66x more expensive at $99.98.
Each volume will come with both the original Japanese dub and the brand new English dub – which contains a cast including: Kari Wahlgren (Fate/Zero), Darrel Guilbeau (Magi: The Kingdom of Magic, Blue Exorcist), Bryce Papenbrook (Sword Art Online II, Blue Exorcist), Michelle Ruff (Sword Art Online II, GURREN LAGANN), Johnny Yong Bosch (Blue Exorcist, Fate/Zero, Expelled from Paradise), Crispin Freeman (Fate/Zero) and Steve Blum (GURREN LAGANN, Expelled from Paradise).
Bonus content of Volume 1 includes a cast interview video, textless opening and ending sequences, a 16-page “deluxe” booklet, illustration postcards and double-sided wraps for cases featuring illustration by Takahiro Kishida (Character Designer). Volume 2 includes the bonus Episode 4.5 OVA (With dual audio) in addition to the 16-page “deluxe” booklet, illustration postcards and double sided wraps for the clear case with artwork by Takahiro Kishida.

Half a year after the turmoil that rocked the entire city of Ikebukuro – Peace has once again returned to the city and people are living each day normally. The high school students enjoy their days of youth as the strongest and most dangerous man of Ikebukuro works diligently.
The informant plots a new scheme and the headless rider is pursued by the cops as she rides through the night. But soon this ordinary life will be cut short by the extraordinariness. Slowly but surely, the unknown will seize the city and face an all new storm.

Falling right into Izaya’s trap and framed for the murders of their members, Shizuo finds himself on the run from the Awakusu Group. Meanwhile, the rumor that the Dollars members engaging in assaults against the Toramaru gang enrages Chikage Rokujo, the leader of Toramaru, and he rushes to Ikebukuro for revenge. Mikado is frustrated with the current situation that the Dollars are in but is unable to do anything to mend the situation. At the same time, Aoba proposes that Mikado become the new leader of the Blue Squares. Mikado makes a decision that may damage the friendship between Masaomi and Anri. Various emotions come together as an ominous scent fills the city.
