Following legs in both Adelaide and Perth earlier this year, Melbourne is set to play host to its fourth year of Oz Comic Con this coming weekend. Nearing its first half-decade, Oz Comic Con is no longer a “newcomer” to the Australian convention scene, having expanded into five capital cities (Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide), and seemingly managing to draw in some strong crowds.
To be held on June 27th and 28th at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, these two days will feature a number of special guest who will be available for their fans to meet, Q&A panels, shopping opportunities and many special events spread throughout the day. According to a recent press release by Oz Comic Con, there may also still be a couple of tickets available for intimate dinners with guests on the Saturday night of the event.
While I encourage everyone to see the full list of guests HERE, anime fans will have an option of meeting members from the original Sailor Moon voice cast: Linda Ballantyne, Katie Griffin and Toby Proctor; alongside voice actor Rikki Simons (Invader ZIM).
