Australian anime publisher Madman Entertainment has continued to expand the “Already Available on DVD/Blu-ray” catalogue available on their official and legal AnimeLab video-on-demand service. While all 24 episodes could already be watched with the original Japanese dub, Madman have also given Premium Subscribers access to English dubbed versions of Episodes 1-19. The remaining five episodes are likely to be made available in English at a later date, given these are set to be made available with Kill la Kill Volume 5 (Episodes 20-24) when it launches later this month on DVD or Blu-ray.
Those looking to purchase a home video release can acquire Volumes 1-4 in stores now, with the final volume to be available this month. Each DVD will set you back around $29.95, with Blu-ray copies slightly more expensive at $34.95 each.
AnimeLab is Madman Entertainment’s official and legal video-on-demand service for their titles. While a functionality reduced version of the service is available at no charge to those residing in Australia and New Zealand, a new Premium service was unveiled a few days ago, bringing with it additional perks. For $6.95 AUD per month or $69.50 AUD per year, paid members will have immediate access to simulcasts, access to the back catalogue, 1080p high definition video where applicable and access to both subtitled and dubbed anime.
