Happy Birthday Hanabee!

Three years ago, Eric Cherry and his team unveiled Hanabee Entertainment at the first Supanova: Pop Culture Expo’s of 2012 – bringing with them some special Rooster Teeth guests which immediately drew in crowds and saw them make a name for themselves. While it was several months until their very first anime release, they have since then become one of the dominant publishers of anime in Australia and New Zealand. While Madman Entertainment have the mainstream covered and Siren Visual generally publish more niche titles, Hanabee has served as more of a middle ground – releasing a good balance niche and mainstream titles to their fans. At least in my opinion.

To celebrate this milestone, Hanabee are slashing 20% off the price of their entire anime selection for three days. This offer can be taken up on via their official website, and will be available starting tomorrow.

In the coming days (at least tomorrow and the entire weekend), Hanabee have confirmed plans to share more surprises and host more giveaways. These will likely be done via their social media channels.
