Going from their recent acquisition announcements, Siren Visual seem to be taking a different direction for 2015. While the Australian publisher has wow’ed fans with their (A+ Standard) release of Monster and charmed us with Chi’s Sweet Home, next year seems to be about the classics.
Siren Visual have previously announced plans to publish Rahxephon and Nadia: Secret of Blue Water in early 2015, and have now added the 1995 film omnibus Memories. This omnibus contains three short films: Magentic Rose (Directed by Koji Morimoto), Stink Bomb (Directed by Tensai Okamura) and Cannon Fodder (Directed by Katsuhiro Otomo). I cannot say much about them personally as they were originally released well before I got into anime, however I personally look forward to checking them out.
The publisher are going all-out with this release, with them producing the very first ever English language Blu-ray edition. No release date has been confirmed, but I am expecting it to hit store shelves sometime in early 2015.
