While its cost may not appeal to all, Nippon Ichi Software America have today confirmed that Cardcaptor Sakura is now available in the North American market uncut/uncensored and cut/censored as part of a number of different DVD and Blu-ray bundles.
For the definitive experience, fans who grew up watching the series on television can purchase the Complete Series Premium Edition priced at $199.99 USD. This set contains the entire uncut 70-episodes on Blu-ray (Runtime: 1,750 minutes) in addition to a small number of on-disc extras and a 76-page hardcover artbook. For those looking for a nostalgia boost, the collection also contains all the episodes with the (infamous) original monaural English voice-overs.
Those looking to purchase the series at a cheaper cost can take advantage of the Standard Edition release, which is available at either $47.99 per 1/3rd series volume or all three for $133.97. Unfortunately these sets only contain the 70 Cardcaptor Sakura episodes on DVD, but still comes with the bonus on-disc content and English voice-overs as extra goodies.
