International anime streamer / simulcaster CrunchyRoll has continued their set of stream rights acquisitions by confirming their plans to make The Pilot’s Love Song (Toaru Hikuushi e no Koiuta / とある飛空士への恋歌) available for anime fans to watch from the 6th January 2014 at 7AM Pacific Time. As usual, free members to their service will be available to watch in lower qualities a week after initial launch.
This title is a sort of prequel to The Princess and the Pilot, which was published in North America last year as a premium edition set by Nippon Ichi Software America. It is currently unknown if the anime / video game publisher holds home video rights to this title.
As always, there are limitations on where you will be able to watch this series. Currently the following regions will be supported by the CrunchyRoll stream: United States of America, Canada, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Central America, South America, United Kingdom, Ireland, German speaking Europe, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark.

As a beautiful daughter of the noble family del Moral, Fana was proposed by Prince Carlo, who is the crown prince of their country Levamme. However, since Levamme is at war with Amatsuvian, the marriage had to wait until the war ends. Meanwhile, as a bestado, the lowest caste in Levamme, Charles had always dreamed of flying and eventually became the ace pilot of the air force. Although he was often mistreated, a glorious chance came about when the Amatsuvian bombarded del Moral’s home in order to get rid of the future empress. Charles was then entrusted with the top secret mission of delivering the princess to the prince.
