Sentai Filmworks have announced that “the game is on and the stakes are real” in their latest anime acquisition Log Horizon. This 25-episode “swords and sorcery” saga is based on the work of Mamare Touno and features direction by Shinji Ishihira, character designs by Mariko Ito, series composition by Toshizo Nemoto, sound direction by Shoji Hata and music by Yasuharu Takanashi.
This title is set to be initially released via digital streaming outlets with an eventual home video release in 2014.
Imagine a MMORPG that has become a global phenomenon, immersing millions of players in its online fantasy world over eleven editions.
