Madman NZ to Wrap Up Reel Anime Screenings in Rialto Dunedin and Hoyts Riccarton This Evening

-

While Reel Anime was usually a biennial event, due to the wealth of animated films hitting Japan during 2012 and 2013 the Australian anime publisher Madman Entertainment confirmed that the event will become annual. While screenings have yet to hit Australia yet, in New Zealand the company has been hosting screenings at both Rialto Dunedin and Hoyts Riccarton for the last week or so. These screenings – often two a day – are being wrapped today.

While it is too late to see three of the five films on offer, they are offering the opportunity to see 009 RE: Cyborg and A Letter to Momo during the day. If you are in the vicinity of these two cinemas and have nothing else to do – might be a worthwhile watch.

A majority of the Australian Reel Anime 2013 screenings are to kick off from early-October 2013.
