North American anime and video game publisher Nippon Ichi Software America have today launched pre-orders for their upcoming Season 4 Premium Edition release of Natsume’s Book of Friends – following prior collections containing seasons 1/2 and season 3.
As with most of the companies anime releases, before being released as a standard edition the title will go through a more expensive premium edition release phase. This collection will feature the entire 13 episode season on DVD and Blu-ray, a couple of extras on-disc, a bonus hardcover slipcase AND a full-colour 28-page hardcover artbook. Ordering through the official NIS America store will also net you a bonus bookmark named “Natsume’s Bookmark of Friends”.
With an initial price of $69.99, you can now pick it up from the official store at a reduced price of $51.99. Release date is coming up soon, the 2nd July 2013. Upon the release of this edition, NIS America would have completed the entire current run of episodes for Natsume’s Book of Friends.
Still in possession of his grandmother’s Book of Friends, Natsume spends his days returning the names of yokai to their rightful owners. He has been learning how to deal with the yokai and humans that surround his life, but the time has come for him to deal with something even more difficult — his own past, and future.
