Sagu Aoyama, author of the Ro-Kyu-Bu! light novel series today confirmed that a second anime season of the series would be developed, following today’s Dengeki 20th Anniversary festival event. The second season is currently planned to be titled Ro-Kyu-Bu! SS.
Sentai Filmworks acquired their acquisition of the North American rights in July 2011, but in June 2012 confirmed that the production committee had requested a buyback of the series home video rights, meaning anything but the digital distribution of the first season is currently up in the air.
