While it isn’t the proper “The Idolm@ster” anime series that was released last year that was based on the highly successful Japanese idol raising game for the XBox360 and later the Playstation 3, Sentai Filmworks have announced they have acquired the license to the Idolm@ster: Xenoglossia anime series,which as you will see below takes the characters from the game and puts them in a completely different environment. The release will be available through digital outlets soon followed by a subtitled DVD release later this year.
Haruka Amami isn’t the most confident pop singer in Japan, but when she’s accepted after an audition, she’s sent to Tokyo to start a career in entertainment.
