Building upon the range of titles they plan to officially simulcast / stream to the North American market, Sentai Filmworks have confirmed that Monster Musume is now part of their Summer 2015 anime season line-up. Streaming will begin through select digital outlets soon, with a home video release planned to follow in the next few years.
Based on the original manga by Okayado, this romantic comedy series sets out to explore a world where mythical creatures known as liminals live alongside humans. Kimihito Kurusu is unknowingly volunteered into the human-liminal exchange program, and soon his house is overrun by females of every species vying for his attention.
Monster Musume is being directed by Tatsuya Yoshihara, with series composition by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu, character designs by Takaya Sunagawa who is also teaming up with Shunji Akasaka to provide chief animation direction. The animation itself will be done collaboratively by Lerche and Seven.
