With their most recent trilogy of Atelier games now available for purchase in both Japanese and Western markets as part of the “Dusk” series, Gust and Koei Tecmo have confirmed that their next Atelier work will be titled ‘Atelier Sophie‘.
Discontinuing the dual-protagonist used in both Atelier Escha & Logy and Atelier Shallie, Atelier Sophie is seemingly only going to feature one heroine: Sophie Noienmuller. Official details are currently limited, but expect more in the coming weeks and months.
Fortunately, fans of the series won’t have to wait too long for a Japanese launch. Gust have currently set a September 25 release date in Japan. In addition, they are not going to limit the initial launch to just one console – with launches planned for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and (for the first time) the PlayStation 4.
