A week out from the dungeon-crawling RPG’s North American international release on the PlayStation 3, Nippon Ichi Software America have shared four new character trailers for The Awakened Fate Ultimatum. These personalities all serve as non-playable characters in the game, with all providing some distinct element to the storyline. All four videos can be found below.
Developed by Nippon Ichi Software and published internationally by their Nippon Ichi Software America division, The Awakened Fate Ultimatum is set for release in North America on March 17th and in PAL regions from March 20th.
Phyllis is the leader of the Celestia Annihilation Force in the Netherworld. Although she may look like a child, she is remarkably talented at military tactics, and puts most adults to shame. Through the use of various evil schemes, she has risen to the ruling class of the Netherworld. However, because she often acts inhumanely, she is considered dangerous by not just the angels, but also from the devils who are supposed to be her allies.
Hien is a human who was turned into the “Vile God” by the Fate Awakening Crystal in the Netherworld. His goals are to heighten his own power, and face those who are even more powerful than he is in fair-and-square fights. In battle, he only uses his devil powers, which surpass all high ranking devils, and even surpass well beyond the power of Shin, who holds the same powers as God. As an important part of the Netherworld’s military industrial complex, he stands against Shin and the others.
Eri is Shin’s classmate from before he awakened as God. Because of her family situation, she doesn’t always exercise her best behavior, and she tends to stand out from her surroundings. Just like Shin, she doesn’t have any friends. They often bump into each other in places like the school rooftop, where they like to kill some time. One day, Shin suddenly disappeared, and she began to worry about him.
Mariel is Jupiel’s older sister. She has assumed the duties of the Archangel, the chief executive of Celestia. Though she may be considered young by angel standards, she was selected to be the Archangel based on her skills. Her battle ability is even greater than Jupiel’s, and she is said to be the strongest in Celestia. Her top priority is to “defeat the devils and guide Celestia to victory,” and she doesn’t hesitate to make level-headed decisions.
