To mark the beginning of their DuRaRaRA!! x2 simulcast on January 10th, North American anime publisher Aniplex of America have announced that the entire first season of DuRaRaRa!! is now available online with the previously DVD/Blu-ray/TV exclusive English dub.
The English dub will be available via both CrunchyRoll and Hulu starting January 10th, to coincide with the simulcast of season two. In my opinion, DuRaRaRa!!’s English dub is the most impressive one that Aniplex of America have commissioned to date – staring Bryce Papenbrook, Michelle Ruff, Johnny Yong Bosch, Yuri Lowenthal, Crispin Freeman and Patrick Seitz among others.
Ikebukuro, Tokyo takes center stage, where various young people have gathered, each with their own expectations. A high school student who longs for an un-ordinary life, the strongest man in Ikebukuro, an information broker, an underground doctor, a stalker, a “headless” rider, and many others both cause and get caught up in trouble.
