Just a quick reminder for everyone in Brisbane / Queensland and who have a free weekend: The first Brisbane Oz Comic Con is set to be held at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre this Saturday and Sunday between 9AM and 6PM.
Similar to the annual series of Supanova conventions’s, Oz Comic Con does not focus on one particular element of pop culture (ie. anime) but instead focuses on a wide range of them to tailor to a mass audience. Many of the guests are involved in either TV/Film or Comic/Publishing, however there is a small group of voice actors/actresses in attendance including Monica Rial, Bill Farmer, Paul Eiding, Jim Cummings and Rodger Bumpass.
