
Sasami: Magical Girls Club is Funimation Entertainment’s attempt at breaking into the market of younger “magical girl” series fans, much like my generation was brought up on Cardcaptor Sakura and Sailor Moon. The end result is an all-ages friendly series which brings a few interesting ideas to the table. However what started off strong slowly began going downhill, making excessive use of cliches and a lack of intensity that other similar series have made good use of in the past to draw viewers in.
