Got a free weekend ahead and want to try out the latest in racing games? Sony Computer Entertainment have today confirmed that an exclusive and free demo of Gran Turismo 6 for the Playstation 3 is now available for download, to be followed by a full retail release later on this year.
There are no restrictions as to who can access this demo – so Playstation Plus member or not, as long as you have a Sony Entertainment Network Account and a Playstation 3 you will be able to access it. The GT6 demo will guide players through a number of rounds in a GT Academy-themed driving school before unlocking a final event at Silverstone Circuit. The demo is open to all and available to play until the end of August.
Anyone who completes the challenges will receive free bonus content for GT6 when the game is released later this year. At the moment just what these goodies are remains a mystery.
