Zephyr Town is open to more players, with Marvelous launching STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar on PlayStation 5. The PlayStation 5 release arrives with the bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements introduced since the game’s original launch. Its arrival also lines up with the release of version 1.5, a free update now available across all platforms, as well as new paid cosmetic DLC based on the game’s romance candidates.
Version 1.5 adds several practical improvements for players managing their farms and businesses. Among the new additions is the White Wonderstone, an item that can temporarily increase windmill performance. Players can also now stack or group items of different quality levels, making inventory management a little easier for organised farmers.
STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar has also rerceived three new cosmetic DLC options:
- The “Bachelor Sweetheart Set” includes the Teacher’s Ensemble, Café Threads, Wanderer’s Robes, Atelier Wear, Elegant Regalia and Kitty-Cat Gi.
- The “Bachelorette Sweetheart Set” includes Strawberry Patch Suspenders, Classical Apparel, Business Casual Fit, Autumn Uniform, Earthly Garments and the Bazaar Agent’s Suit.
- Players can also purchase the “Complete Sweetheart Set,” which combines both DLC packs.
The outfits can be worn by all player characters regardless of gender, and are available digitally per set or as a bundle.
Inspired by the original handheld title, STORY OF SEASONS: Grand Bazaar revisits Zephyr Town with updated visuals, new characters, an expanded story and full character voice work during story events, a first for the series. The game places a focus on the town’s weekly bazaar, where players sell produce and crafted goods from their farm. Players can also make use of Zephyr Town’s windy weather through windmills, gliding and traversal options designed around the setting. Alongside farming and selling goods, players can build relationships with townsfolk, meet Nature Sprites, customise their home, pursue romance and start a family.
