Developer Kuro Games has announced the upcoming Version 3.3 update for its action RPG, Wuthering Waves, titled Reverbs From the End of Galaxies. Scheduled for release on 30 April 2026, the update coincides with the second anniversary of the title. The new content was recently detailed during a community livestream and includes three additional main quests along with various anniversary rewards – and more.
The update introduces two new playable Resonators to the character roster. Hiyuki is a member of the Special Response Force who utilizes Glacio attributes, while Denia is a student from Startorch Academy with Fusion attributes. Along with these characters, players can obtain new weapons called Frostburn and Forged Dwarf Star, as well as a new outfit for Morney titled Plush Dream. Exploration will also expand with the addition of the Dimmr Plains region and a new Tactical Hologram challenge known as Sigillum.
A two part collaboration event will be featured during this version, offering players unique rewards. These include Expedition Motorbike liveries based on various intellectual properties, specifically Resident Evil, PRAGMATA, and Angry Birds. The motorbikes themselves are receiving functional updates, including a new aerial mode and aerial tactics module to change how players traverse the environment.
Several technical and quality of life improvements are being implemented in Version 3.3. For mobile players, Kuro Games is introducing proprietary frame generation to assist performance on mid range devices and new resource download options to reduce the game’s storage footprint. PC players will gain access to Anisotropic Filtering and support for DLAA to enhance visual clarity. The user interface for the Data Bank, Team, and Backpack pages has also been redesigned for better navigation.
Kuro Games also shared plans for a live musical event titled To the New World, a Wuthering Waves World Tour. Starting in Shanghai and moving to cities such as Tokyo, Seoul, Taipei, Singapore, and Los Angeles, the tour will feature live performances of the game’s soundtrack. Specific dates for these concerts are expected to be announced via the game’s official social media channels in the coming weeks.
Wuthering Waves is currently available on PC, iOS, Android, and PlayStation 5 platforms.
