Aksys Games has officially released their latest title, Otome Daoshi -Fighting for Love-, on the Nintendo Switch as of 26 March 2026. This Chinese fantasy romantic comedy is now available for players looking for a blend of martial arts action and narrative-driven romance in a visual novel package.
Otome Daoshi -Fighting for Love- is set within the prosperous martial arts kingdom of Kayu. Players follow the journey of Shunlin, a young woman in training to become a Daoist priestess. The plot begins during the Tournament of Valor, a prestigious event held to identify the most powerful fighter in the nation. However, the festivities are cut short when an unknown assailant attacks the arena and its spectators, forcing the protagonist into a much larger conflict.
As the narrative progresses, Shunlin must deal with themes of betrayal and shifting loyalties among her allies. She is joined in her quest by various warriors and her pet, Mimi. The gameplay experience seeks to have players protect the kingdom and fight for the protagonist’s personal pride and her romantic interest.
