Marvelous Europe has announced that the Nihon Falcom action role-playing game, Ys Memoire: Revelations in Celceta, will be released on the Nintendo Switch starting 28 April 2026. Marvelous Europe will be handling the publishing duties for both the European and Australian regions, while XSEED Games will publish the title in America.
The narrative follows the young adventurer Adol Christin as he works to recover his lost memories while traversing the expansive and secretive region of Celceta. To aid in exploration, players are provided with a robust mapping system to navigate the dangerous landscape and uncover various challenges and rewards.
Combat in the game utilizes a dynamic tag-team party system that requires players to adjust their tactics during encounters. As battles progress, allied characters have the opportunity to learn powerful new abilities to help them overcome strong enemies.
Canonically within the franchise, this adventure takes place immediately following the events of Ys X. It is also noted for introducing the foundational gameplay systems that would later be expanded upon in Ys VIII and other subsequent titles. To accompany the Nintendo Switch release, the game features an updated audio experience. Players can choose to play through the campaign using either the original sweeping score or a newly recorded, re-interpreted version of the soundtrack.
Digital pre-orders for the game are currently available via the Nintendo eShop, priced at £24.99 or €29.99. For those who prefer physical media, standard boxed editions will also be available for purchase, starting at £34.99 or €39.99.
