While Persona 5: The Phantom X is based on ATLUS’ Persona 5 chronology, circumstances see you take control of a completely different protagonist with a completely different Velvet Room attendant.
As part of a simultaneous update across all versions of the game on 25 December 2025, it has been confirmed that Justine and Caroline (VA: Aki Toyosaki) will be obtainable and available to join your party from Christmas.
While Justine and Caroline have been narrative-pivotal characters across the Persona 5 franchise, given their role as attendants (and with a lack of spin-off games like Persona 4 Arena to justify their availability), they have never been playable. Therefore, this will be the first time that these two characters are playable in any such game.
