Maximum Entertainment has revealed Samurai Academy: Paws of Fury, a new action adventure game developed in collaboration with ZEROlife Games and Fishing Cactus. The title will launch digitally on 20 November 2025 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, with a physical release for Nintendo Switch arriving in Australia and New Zealand the day after its digital release.
The game continues the story from the Paws of Fury film, following Hank and his mentor Jimbo as they once again step up to defend Kakamucho. Peace in the village is short-lived when the formidable Shogun and his armies return, forcing the unlikely heroes to fight back and protect both their people and the wider island.
Players can take on the campaign solo or join forces with a friend in two player co-op, available on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The adventure seeks to combine fast-paced arcade combat with open world exploration, puzzle solving, and colourful missions set in the world of Kakamucho.
