Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed that Rematch, the football action game developed by Sloclap, will be released in physical form on 14 November 2025 for PlayStation 5.
The retail version, titled Rematch: Elite Edition, will include all Season 1 content scheduled to launch later this month, with full cross-platform support. It will also feature additional digital items aimed at players who want to stand out on the pitch.
Among the included bonuses are two Captain Pass Upgrade Tickets, which let players access premium cosmetic rewards, as well as a collection of Blazon-themed items such as player backgrounds, jewellery sets, trainers, and an Augmented Reality goal celebration cage.
The game itself at least aims to offer a different take on football, favouring high-speed, competitive play over realism. Matches can be played in 3v3, 4v4, or 5v5 formats, with each player controlling a single character from a third-person perspective. With no fouls or offsides, gameplay emphasises quick reactions and tactical teamwork within stylised digital arenas.
