A new playable character, Unika, has joined the roster of Guilty Gear -Strive-. Available as part of Season Pass 4 or for individual purchase, Unika can be played on all supported versions of the fighting game, including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC platforms.
Unika is introduced as the daughter of Ky and Dizzy, possessing Gear lineage. Born in a devastated future timeline, she was raised by Nerville with the mission of altering the past. Initially acting on his behalf, she eventually defects after encountering her brother, Sin, and the series’ mainstay, Bridget. Following her role in thwarting Nerville’s invasion, Unika embarks on a journey under U.S. supervision to gain a deeper understanding of the world and herself. In gameplay, she serves as a balanced and accessible fighter, designed to be approachable for new players.
Alongside Unika’s debut, two new battle stages have been released as part of Season Pass 4 and are also available for separate purchase. “In the Name of Peace” is set in a tranquil plain marked by remnants of the Crusades, juxtaposing serenity with signs of past conflict. “New Dawn, A Future Unfolding” presents an autonomous Gear city, highlighting the emerging cultural identity of Gears and their evolving relationship with humans.
Unika is the latest addition in Season Pass 4, with one more character, Lucy from Cyberpunk, confirmed to join the lineup in a future update.
