Developer DeadToast Entertainment and publisher Devolver Digital have announced Shotgun Cop Man, a fast-paced precision platformer set in the depths of Hell. Created by the developer behind My Friend Pedro, the game aims to blend acrobatic gunplay with intense platforming, as players take on the role of a lawman tasked with a seemingly impossible mission—arresting Satan (Yeah, no pressure).
Shotgun Cop Man sets out to incorporate a unique movement system where firearms double as traversal tools. Players can use their shotgun, pistol, and other weapons to propel themselves through chaotic levels, dodging enemies, clearing massive gaps, and scaling walls. The game features a handcrafted campaign with additional No Damage and Speedrun modes for those seeking an extra challenge. User-generated levels will also be available, expanding replayability.
Scheduled for release later this year on PC and Nintendo Switch for $9.99, Shotgun Cop Man currently offers a 17-level demo, available now on Steam.
