Following the development toolkit’s release on Nintendo Switch late last year, Nippon Ichi Software America has announced that RPG MAKER WITH is now available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
The latest entry in the RPG Maker seeks to expand the RPG Maker franchise’s accessibility and creative options for players, offering a user-friendly interface and extensive tools to develop custom RPGs on consoles – rather than just PC. Both PlayStation versions are cross-compatible with the Nintendo Switch release, allowing creators to share projects across platforms.
Designed for both newcomers and experienced developers, RPG MAKER WITH includes pre-made sample games, a vast library of assets, and the ability to create custom assets from scratch. For the first time in a console RPG Maker title, players can also share unfinished projects and assets with others, fostering a collaborative development environment.
Players can also explore and play other user-created games for inspiration or upload their own projects to share with the community.
