SNK Unveils Full Season Pass 1 Lineup for FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves at EVO Awards

SNK CORPORATION has officially revealed the complete Season Pass 1 character roster for FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, including crossover additions from Street Fighter. The announcement, made at the EVO Awards, confirmed that Ken and Chun-Li from Street Fighter will join Fatal Fury‘s Andy Bogard and Joe Higashi, along with Art of Fighting‘s Mr. Big. These characters will arrive as post-launch DLC throughout 2025 and 2026.

Players who purchase the FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves – Special Edition will have access to all Season Pass 1 characters. Additionally, those who pre-order the game will receive a classic Fatal Fury 2 costume for Terry Bogard.

Additionally, SNK Corporation announced that ahead of the game’s official launch, an Open Beta test will be available from 20 to 25 February. The beta will feature eight playable fighters, including the newly announced Kain R. Heinlein (see more about him below), the ambitious antagonist from GAROU: Mark of the Wolves.

The playable characters in the beta are:

  • Kain R. Heinlein
  • Rock Howard
  • Terry Bogard
  • Hotaru Futaba
  • B. Jenet
  • Mai Shiranui
  • Preecha
  • Vox Reaper

Players will be able to compete in online Ranked Matches, Casual Matches, and Room Matches or hone their skills in the offline Tutorial mode. The beta will also introduce four playable stages: Training, Freight Express, B. Port, and Training Ground.

Kain R. Heinlein, voiced by Brett Calo (English) and Yuichi Nakamura (Japanese), is set to make his return. In City of the Wolves, he continues his quest for power while uncovering a personal crisis—his sister Marie is being held captive. To rescue her, he forms an alliance with Rock Howard, setting the stage for intense confrontations in South Town.

FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves launches on 24 April 2025 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game aims to present a distinct comic-inspired visual style and introduces the REV System, designed to enhance the fighting experience with dynamic matches. Players can choose between two control schemes, catering to both newcomers and experienced players.
