Known for her many memorable songs, from her award winning Ru-Rararu-Ra-Rurararu-Ra-(るーららるーらーるららるーらー) to performing the ending themes of many anime including Lycoris Recoil, Edens Zero, My Hero Academia, Erased and Rampo Kitan: Game of Laplace, an announcement was shared on her social media platforms attributed to her partner Ama Arashi, that Japanese artist Sayuri passed away on 20 September 2024 at the age of 28. The statement shares that a funeral has been held with only family and close friends, and they would like to express their gratitude for the kindness shown to Sayuri during her lifetime, and extends their heartfelt prayers for her eternal peace.
