2K and Hangar 13 have officially revealed Mafia: The Old Country, the latest entry in rhwie Mafia action-adventure franchise. The game is scheduled for release in 2025, and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. At the moment we just have confirmation of the game’s announcement, with more details set to be shared this coming December.
Set in the brutal underworld of 1900s Sicily, Mafia: The Old Country aims to uncover the origins of organized crime through a gritty mob story. Players should expect authentic realism and rich storytelling, as they fight to survive in this dangerous and unforgiving era.
Nick Baynes, President of Hangar 13, commented on the direction of the new game:

In Mafia: The Old Country, we’re going back to the roots of what fans love about the franchise, crafting a deep, linear narrative with that classic mob movie feeling, visiting a stunning new setting, and delivering it all in a tight, focused package perfect for fans of immersive experiences.
New to the franchise? All previously released Mafia games are currently on sale on Steam until 2 September 2024.
