CD PROJEKT RED has announced that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, their 2015 open-world RPG, is now available to PlayStation Plus Extra subscribers. Those subscribed to either the Extra or Premium tiers can access the full base game on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
In The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, players step into the role of Geralt of Rivia, a professional monster slayer. The game takes players on a journey through the war-torn Northern Kingdoms as Geralt searches for his adopted daughter, Ciri. With over 150 hours of gameplay, players can expect a rich narrative filled with complex characters, morally ambiguous choices, and their far-reaching consequences.
Originally released for the last generation of consoles, including the PlayStation 5, in 2022 the game received a ‘Next Gen’ update. PlayStation 5 players can benefit from enhancements such as faster loading times, integrated mods, ray tracing, and other visual and performance improvements. Both PlayStation 4 and 5 owners can also enjoy quality of life updates and new content inspired by The Witcher series on Netflix.
