Bringing a complete collection of the PlayStation Vita exclusive action RPG to the Nintendo Switch, Aksys Games has this week rolled out Nihon Falcom’s Tokyo Xanadu eX+ onto the platform. This updated edition includes new scenarios and gameplay not present in the original PlayStation Vita version, as well as all additional content and a revamped localization of the story. Additionally, an exclusive 4-CD set featuring all 88 songs from the Tokyo Xanadu eX+ soundtrack is available through the Aksys Online Store.
Set ten years after a devastating earthquake in Tokyo, the rebuilt city hides a dark secret. The earthquake was caused by the emergence of a shadow world known as Eclipse. Players must take action to thwart the legions of Eclipse and protect the city.
Features of the eX+ edition compared to the 2015 original, include:
New Scenarios: Experience unique tales of the wielders not depicted in the main story. An all-new quest is available after completing the game.
New Playable Characters, Monsters, Dungeons, and Bosses: Play as White Shroud, a mysterious knight with the powers of light, and face new dungeons filled with fierce monsters and giant bosses.
New Boss Battle Mode: Revisit battles with various bosses from the main story, with times recorded for each battle. The mode also features Boss Rush, where players can battle bosses consecutively.
