The summer school holidays musical to usher in the beginning of 2025, Crossroads Live Australia are bringing Grease the Musical to the QPAC Lyric Theatre starting 4 January 2025 – following its current season in Melbourne and upcoming productions in Sydney (1 June 2024), Perth (30 June 2024) and Adelaide (28 September).
Perhaps a complement to a perfectly planned summer day and summer night, tickets are now available for purchase via the QPAC website or by calling their box office on 136 246 – with specific booking information for all seasons available via the musical’s official Australian website.
While there is an Australian cast currently touring with Grease the Musical, including the aforementioned Marcia Hines, specific casting for the Brisbane season has not been confirmed and is expected over the coming months. Whether we get many of the current members of the cast, a new cast entirely or a mix of both is yet to be confirmed.
This iconic 1970s musical, which served as the source material for the beloved romantic comedy film “Grease,” will come to life once again on stage. This production is bringing the timeless story of Rydell High and its T-Birds and Pink Ladies to audiences across Australia, with the musical backing of iconic songs from Summer Nights to You’re the One That I Want to Greased Lightnin’.
