For PlayStation 4 owners wishing to upgrade to PlayStation 5, the process can be completed digitally through the PlayStation Store or by using their physical disc in the PlayStation console. Xbox One users can transition to the Xbox Series X|S version by inserting their physical disc into the Xbox Series console and selecting the “Upgrade to Xbox Series X|S” option on the title screen. Again, regardless of the platform, this upgrade is free of charge.
