Get ready to take the reins of city management and creativity, with Prideful Sloth rolling out a new playtest for their upcoming open-world sandbox game, Go-Go Town!. Go-Go Town! is calling for both new and returning mayors to join the playtest and get their hands dirty in starting to build vibrant and dynamic cities.
In Go-Go Town!, players are tasked with the challenge of creating a well-rounded city teeming with life and energy. The game focuses on not just building but also ensuring the happiness and satisfaction of the city’s tourists, which will be receiving improved AI and ranking systems.
For returning mayors, there are plenty of new features to explore. These include upgraded industry materials such as concrete and mana, a variety of different shop types, and an enhanced tutorial to guide players through these new additions.
The game encourages players to blend nature with urban design, allowing for the creation of harmonious landscapes. Players can grow orchards, lay out roads, and design cozy hangout spots, all while filling their towns with quirky residents and a plethora of fun activities. From running a movie theater to mining minerals and even encountering aliens, it is hoped that each day in the life of your Go-Go Town! residents are filled with adventure and satisfaction.
The latest PC playtest for Go-Go Town! is scheduled to run from Wednesday, 22 November to Saturday, 5 December 2023. While only available on the PC, when the full game releases in 2024, other platforms including the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and the Nintendo Switch shall also be supported.
