Perhaps not the game for those with arachnophobia… but Casey Donnellan Games and tinyBuild are now inviting players to don an exterminator suit and embark on a mission to eradicate invasive spiders from the neighborhood in Kill It With Fire VR on the PlayStation VR2 platform. This is a first-person spider-hunter game which will see players hunt down and erradicate eight different species of chaotic creepy crawlers from their neighbourhood, and hopefully not gain a phobia or two in the process.
The game provides a diverse arsenal of weapons to tackle these tiny terrors. Whether it’s using picture frames, ninja stars, dynamite, a frying pan, or even a flamethrower, players have some freedom to choose their method of extermination. These tools prove to be more effective and certainly more entertaining than traditional bug spray in ensuring the spiders don’t return. Although from the sounds of the game’s title, expect you to don that flamethrower and go to town on the little rascals.
Kill It With Fire VR offers support for the PSVR2’s eye tracking feature, allowing players to pick up items easily by merely looking at them and pressing and holding the grip button. This eliminates the need to point at objects… and maybe assist in making a last minute flamethrower grab….
Available now on Sony’s PSVR 2, “Kill It With Fire VR” is priced at $14.99 USD, €14.99 or local equivalent. The game supports multiple languages including English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Dutch, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese.
