Dubbed the ‘Final Horizon’ update, SEGA’s 2022 open-world platformer Sonic Frontier is soon set to see its free post-launch content development conclude. SEGA has confirmed that the game’s third and final update will go live on 28 September 2023.
What can players expect? As indicated by the trailer to the left, there is set to be more story content, new challenges, and the ability to play as not only Sonic but also Tails, Amy and Knuckles.
Sonic Frontiers is now available to buy on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch. My review of the base game can be found HERE.
