Outright Games Launch Charity Bundle: Supporting UNICEF

Global publisher of kids’ interactive entertainment, Outright Games, has this weekend launched its first ever charity video game bundle in collaboration with UNICEF. This is set to mark the beginning of a long-term partnership between the two organizations, with Outright Games leveraging its access to major children’s media brands to raise funds for the charity.

All profits from the sale of the video game bundle (after the costs of taxes, licenses, distribution and production) will directly support UNICEF’s work to assist vulnerable children worldwide, with goals of raising £200,000 per year for UNICEF’s Resources for Results Fund, which enables the charity to provide rapid assistance during humanitarian emergencies.

The Hasbro Kids Bundle, retailing at $19.99, includes a selection of games from licensed IPs: TRANSFORMERS: BATTLEGROUNDS, My Friend Peppa Pig, and PJ Masks: Heroes of the Night. The bundle is available for purchase right now on via the PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop and Xbox Marketplace for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One respectively.

Outright Games’ CEO, Beth Goss, expressed pride in partnering with UNICEF UK, marking the charity’s first official collaboration with the video games industry:

We are incredibly proud to support UNICEF UK as their first official partner from the video games industry. Our aim is to take our best in class stable of licensed IP’s and the passion of our global team to help improve the lives of all children across the world. We are excited to bring our community together to make a difference to those children who need help the most.

Deputy Executive Director of Partnerships & Philanthropy at the UK Committee for UNICEF, Mohini Raichura-Brown, also shared their pride in the partnership with Outright Games:

Children around the world face vast challenges – from conflict to climate shocks, as well as missing out on their right to quality education. I am proud of this partnership with Outright Games that brings their employees and dedicated customer base together to help UNICEF continue to make a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable children.

Throughout 2023, Outright Games plans to release additional charity bundles, featuring iconic characters and brands from its storied licensing partners. These bundles will provide further opportunities for the gaming community to support UNICEF’s work.
