Marvel’s Spider-Man Series Headed to PC Starting 12 August

One of the major video game projects of Insomniac Games in recent years has been their PlayStation-exclusive Marvel’s Spider-Man works, first released to critical acclaim on the PS4 before heading to the PS5 once the console released. As has been the case with a selection of a few Sony Interactive Entertainment first-party exclusives in recent years, it has been confirmed that both Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be headed to the PC. This announcement comes as Insomniac Games celebrate 33 million copies sold in the franchise as of mid-May.

The PC version is being co-developed by Nixxes Software, a PlayStation Studios partner studio, who have optimised both games for the PC. While more information will be known about the PC versions tech specifics at a later date, we do know just when PC gamers can look forward to pushing their PC specs to the limit and fly through New York as Spider-Man. Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered will launch on PC on 12 August 2022 while Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will launch on PC later in 2022.

There will be parity between the PlayStation 4/5 and PC versions of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered content-wise. It will include the full main story and The City That Never Sleeps DLC, which features three accompanying story chapters in Peter Parker’s journey along with additional missions and challenges for players to discover.
