Announced earlier in the year as part of NIS’s ongoing 20th anniversary celebrations, Disgaea Dimension 2 (Disgaea D2) is a sequel to the original Playstation 2 game Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (The first game in one of Nippon Ichi Software’s most well known gaming franchises).
While we have only had small tidbits of information unveiled in the past, the company have recently released a sizable batch of screenshots today which unveil one of the games new characters. Sicily is the younger sister of Laharl and has recently left heaven and traveled to the netherworld in order to become a demon. Of course, as the younger sister she desires to not only become a demon but take Laharl’s title of Overlord.
In addition to screenshots focused around Sicily, they also provide a look at the Dark Assembly, the Overlord’s Castle hub world and other storyline/gameplay related footage.
